I am raised up with Christ and seated in heavenly places. - Eph 2:6, Col 2:12
Sin literally means to miss the mark. Everyone of us has sinned, so we all have fallen short of God's intent for us. That idea can be depressing in light of the extravagant love and provision Jesus made for us through His life and death. Now that we walk in perfect communion with God through the Holy Spirit reminding ourselves of our position in the kingdom of heaven is one of the best ways to bolster up your prayer life. We do not pray for position, but from a position of strength and power. How does this truth change your language during prayer? Personally when I realized where I was praying from I stopped the pleading prayers. Instead I shifted my prayers to declaration of God's provision in my situation. I get to call down heaven to earth. We all do. As believers we are His ambassadors here on earth. That means we don't have to ask for what has already been given, but we get to enforce it. Shift your boldness and fortify your strength when you pray understanding that you pray from a position in heaven.
